Description
Caligula's horse, Incitatus.
The much loved horse of Roman Emperor Caligula.
Incitatus meaning the Swift had servants, golden bowls to eat and drink from and a jeweled collar. History has recorded Caligula as a cruel and perhaps mad Emperor yet a very different person when it came to his horse.

I bought a card a while ago. Wish I had the money to get something bigger. I just love this piece of artwork. It just amazes me how REAL all your work looks. It's almost spooky. :)
Shanina Conway replied:
Sorry Shannon, clicked the wrong button...see above and thank you sincerely.

Absolutely amazing and beautiful!! I can't keep gazing at that wonderfully horse. May I ask, is that a photo of a real horse, or did you create it from "scratch?" Either way, I'm just awed. :)
Shanina Conway replied:
Shannon, thank you so much, no it's not a photo, I work in 3D work and digital painting...sometimes photomanipulation but not in this particular artwork....so glad you like this:)
